Fees at this end can run into the hundreds of euros — always confirm the exact figure before booking, since it's rarely included in the headline room rate.
Regardless of which end of the spectrum a property sits on, the same handful of questions are worth asking directly rather than assuming: is there a weight limit, what's the exact pet fee, which areas of the hotel are off-limits (restaurants and breakfast rooms are common exclusions even at pet-friendly properties), and can a pet be left alone in the room if the owner steps out.
