Who we are
Gossippet (gossippet.com) is a pet travel guide website. Questions about privacy: hello@gossippet.com.
What we collect
- Browsing: you can read every guide without an account. At the time of writing, the site uses no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies.
- Hosting logs: our hosting provider (Netlify) processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site.
- Accounts (optional): if you sign up, your email address and an encrypted password are stored by our sign-in service (Netlify Identity). We use them only so you can sign in. The sign-in tool loads only when you open the account menu.
- Emails: if you write to us, we keep your message to reply to you.
- On your device: checklist progress is saved in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to us and you can clear it any time (or press Reset on the checklist).
Fonts and images
Fonts and images are served from gossippet.com itself, not from Google or other third parties.
Links to other sites
Our guides link to official and third-party websites. They have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, and you can object to how it is used. Write to hello@gossippet.com. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Changes
If we add analytics, advertising or new features that use personal data, we will update this page first.
